When does the AACTE member directory come out and how
up to date is the information?
AACTE publishes its membership directory in January each year. Members' contact information is current as of the end of the previous year. Thus the directory published in January 2005 has information current as of December 2004. Productivity tables with statistics
for each institution are based on 2-year-old data from the Professional Education Data System.
How do I submit my work for publication consideration with AACTE?
AACTE's Journal of Teacher Education (JTE) accepts articles for publication at the discretion of the JTE editors. Please click here for the JTE's article submission guidelines. AACTE currently does not accept unsolicited manuscripts for books or other monographs.
Ordering Publications
How do I order publications from AACTE?
AACTE publications can be ordered online through our online catalog. You can also
fax in your order using this printable order form. You can also buy AACTE publications during AACTE's Annual Meeting in the
exhibit hall, at AERA's Annual Convention and ATE's Annual Meeting.
Do bookstores receive a discount on AACTE publications?
Bookstores receive a 10% discount on AACTE publications. This discount is not available for online ordering and is not valid in combination with other discounts.
Do I get a discount for bulk orders?
A 10% volume discount applies to orders of 10 or more copies of the same title. This discount may be combined with member and author discounts.
What is AACTE's return and claims policy?
Claims for damaged or missing items must be made in writing within 10 working days of your receipt of the order. Returns must be received at AACTE in resaleable condition within 6 months of our original shipping date. A 25% shelvage fee will be charged for returned overstock items. If you were billed for the order, please include a copy of AACTE's invoice and your original order with the return. Returns and claims not meeting these criteria may be refused. Shipping and handling charges and return shipping costs are not refundable expect in cases of AACTE error.
