The Teacher Education Excellence Act of 2005
The Teacher Education Excellence Act of 2005, a draft bill focusing on Title II developed in consultation with the AACTE Committee on Governmental Relations, has been delivered to congressional members and staff and is generating a good deal of discussion on both sides of the aisle.

The purpose of "The Teacher Education Excellence Act of 2005" is to project a clear vision from America's colleges of education regarding the appropriate federal role in supporting and promoting effective teacher education.

Teacher Education Primer 2004
The Teacher Education Primer 2004, a product of the AACTE Governmental Relations Committee, is meant to be used as a guide for members of Congress as they continue the reauthorization of the Higher Education Act.
