AACTE web seminars allow participants to hear from and interact with the leading voices in teacher education without spending time or money traveling. Focusing on the field's most pressing issues, these web seminars provide timely dialogues on topics of interest.

How do they work?
Participants listen to the presentation by phone while watching the presenter's PowerPoint presentation on the internet. Time for questions and answers is included and participants can choose to submit questions via the internet or ask them over the phone.

What events are planned?
AACTE hosted its first web seminar on January 25, 2005, featuring then AACTE President and CEO David Imig, presenting Education Policy & Politics 2005 - Implications for Teacher Education. In the fall of 2005 and 2006 AACTE hosted multi-day web based conferences on "Connecting the Teacher Pipeline".

Future events are being planned that address various topics of interest in tehacer education. Check this page for updates.
