AACTE sponsors several awards and recognitions to recognize excellence in schools, colleges, and departments of teacher education and to honor those individuals who have made significant contributions to AACTE and to the profession throughout their careers. In identifying notable programs, practices, activities, writing, and research, these awards encourage all member institutions to strengthen the profession of teacher education through innovation, high standards, and leadership.

AACTE issues an annual Call for Entries, which provides information on how to submit entries for each award. Awards are presented at the AACTE Annual Meeting at a formal Awards Ceremony, a conference highlight. This year's award winners will join a prestigious list of Past Recipients of AACTE Awards.
